Education Development Fund

What is the Education Development Fund?

We are humbled and proud that our Members overwhelmingly support the Education Development Fund (EDF) via voluntary contributions alongside their annual membership fees.

With these vital funds, the EDF provides financial support to uplift and motivate young Western Australians who come from social disadvantage, poverty or in-need communities.

With Members’ generous contributions and CCIWA’s support, our collective efforts enable us to profoundly influence the lives of underprivileged youths, enriching accessibility, fairness and educational outcomes.

Your support genuinely makes a difference.

Our EDF team is contactable via email on [email protected]

How many people have we helped?

How does your contribution help?

  • The Smith Family charity: On our members behalf we sponsor at least 75 school students across nine in-need WA communities to help them through their education journey.
  • Clontarf Foundation: On our members behalf we support a group of 10 WA First Nations students to access the Clontarf Foundation programme, which provides pastoral care, development and support to finish high school and enter employment.
  • Career inspiration initiatives: Our team work with members, to offer exciting career excursions and exploration opportunities for secondary school students and disadvantaged teens.
  • Academic excellence recognition: On behalf of our members, we sponsor a range of academic excellence prizes at WA Universities in economics, business and law.
  • Empowering teachers: Each year, our team help organise and deliver WA’s largest educators’ conference, Engagement Forum WA, to help train and educate those working with disengaged youth.

If you would like to know more, or get involved in providing a career excursion at your organisation, please reach out to [email protected].

Thank you.

Your voluntary contributions to the Education Development Fund help support disadvantaged youths.

It allows our team to work with members to create opportunities to inspire and motivate young people to continue their education journey.

We work with education providers across primary schools to universities to empower youth towards valuable career options.

We have helped thousands of youth reach their potential.

Your support makes a difference.
